Avery's 5th Birthday at Disneyland

My mom and I took Madison-7, Avery-5, Owen-2 all to Disneyland for Avery's 5th Birthday. It was a lot of fun. It was a perfect day weather wise, and the kids were great. The park wasn't that crowded. We didn't wait for more than 40 minutes for any ride, including Space Mountain. Avery and I went on Space Mountain, she was very brave. I was so proud of her bravery.

This is Avery being excited (a little scared) to go on Space Mountain.

It was a lot of fun going to Disneyland with my mom and the Weenig Kids.

I really enjoy spending time with my nieces and nephew. When Avery heard that we were going to get to meet with Mickey & Minnie she got a huge grin on her face. She was soo excited to get there autograph. Disneyland really is the happiest place on earth for everyone!!

Madison & Avery in Minnie's house.
Look how happy Madison was!!

Madison & Avery with Cinderalla.

We waited for an 1 1/2 hours to get these princesses autographs and get pictures with them. The girls wanted to do this more than ride on rides so that is what we did.

This was at the end of the day and Owen still had sooo much energy. He was posing for pictures and dancing. He was having a lot of fun!!

This was Owen showing us his dance moves.

Singles Conference is Over

So last January I was called as a co-chair in charge of our ward's Huntington Beach Mid Singles Conference. This year was the third year of this conference. Registration at this conference has been between 800-1200. This is a huge group to plan activities for. This was a lot of work for me. Luckily I got lots of help from my friends and family. The conference was a hit. We had around 920 registered this year. The hardest part of this calling for me was that I had to speak on Sunday during our 2 hour sacrament meeting. There were around 1200 people there on Sunday. This was soooo nerve racking for me. I don't like speaking in my own ward - let alone in front of that large of a group. We did have a lot of fun. On Saturday night we had a group called 80's All Starz play for us. We found them at Disneyland, everyone really enjoyed the band's music. On Friday night we had a Robo-Surfer - kind of like a mechanical bull that you ride, instead there was a surf board to ride. It was a lot of fun. Here is a picture of me riding it - before the crowds got there.

This is me on the Robo Surfer before it started moving. It was easier to stay on that way.

This is me trying to ride it once it started to move. It threw me off a few times. When I got off the surfboard I could barely walk. I had to sit down and people brought me food and water. I had been working all day to set everything up and hadn't had much to eat so by body was not ready for the surf board ride.

Our Family Does Things in Groups

So last summer we had two weddings. This summer there are 3 baby boys coming.

Coco had her baby Carter Daniel Meisenbach on May 2nd, 2009. He was 7 lbs 4 ounces and 21 inches long. Here are a few pictures of Carter.

Coco is a mommy now. Should we start calling her Nichole??

This is Carter's first day at church. He looks so big in this picture. I have been having soooo much fun playing with him. The Meisenbach Family (Daniel, Coco & Carter) live close to me so I get to see them a lot. Here are some fun pictures that Chris (Michelle's) husband took of the Meisenbach Family.

This is my favorite picture. We searched the house for items that Carter could fit in. He was such a good sport and didn't cry once.

Here is the Meisenbach Family Photo. Dan, Coco, & Carter.

I thought this was a cool picture too. I love the coloring on this.

Melissa is pregnant as well. She is due either end of June or beginning of July. She isn't real sure about her due date. She has been given a few different due dates. She is also having a boy. They are very excited. They also live close to me so I will get to see the "Carlile baby boy" a lot as well. Can't wait to meet him.
Tammi is also pregnant and due the end of August some time. She has 3 kids, 2 girls and 1 boy. So this new baby boy will be the perfect end to their cute family. Two girls and two boys. Here are a few pictures of the Weenig Family (Marcus, Tammi, Madison, & Avery). We already know how cute the Weenig kids are so I am sure this one will be just as cute!!

This is Owen Weenig. He is two years old now. He is the cutest little boy. We are having fun with him. The Weenigs live in San Marcos which is about a little over an hour away. Owen is the first of many grandsons to come and will be a great ring leader!!
